Security, in plain words.

Here is what we do to protect your account and your callers, and what FrontDesk Talk isn’t built for.

What we do today

HTTPS everywhere

Every page and every connection to the FrontDesk Talk app and API uses HTTPS, so data is encrypted on its way between your browser and us.

Hashed passwords

We never store your password as text. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before they’re saved.

Payments by Stripe

Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

Role-based access for your team

When you add team members, what they can see and do depends on the role you give them.

Restricted staff access

Access to customer accounts on our side is limited to the platform staff who need it to support you.

Not for health information

FrontDesk Talk isn’t covered by HIPAA and doesn’t sign Business Associate Agreements. Please don’t use it to collect or store protected health information.

Healthcare practices should use FrontDesk Care, which is built for HIPAA compliance.
